The cold plunge was very easy to set up! The chiller puts out a fair pit of heat, so plan out where you place it (a draftier colder basement room). The lines will sweat with condensation from the air, so place it in an environment where the floor can get wet and drain. I appreciate that it came with several sets of filters. For the price, it is a pretty awesome deal.

Highly recommend Dakota and his team. They were extremely helpful in selecting the right tub/chiller for me and customizing to my budget. But most importantly, they were in constant communication (even while Dakota was out of the office on paternity leave) to remedy a hiccup I had with my order. Customer Service is 100%. Real people answer the phone. I had a question on shipping timing and that was addressed very quickly. I love the mod plunge. It is a game changer in my bio hacking adventure. It’s a step equal to intermittent fasting and bulletproof coffee, but is condensed into weeks rather than months to see significant results. I do five minutes every morning after a sauna, and then row 2 km. That is a recipe for success for anyone, hoping to improve every aspect of their life. Five minutes of condensed meditation in the cold plunge is enough to reset my perspective on life, and improve my reactivity, and all situations that were previously unfavorable

Awesome! Seriously one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had. They were so responsive to my initial questions. I had a small issue with the led panel and within moments of reaching out to them The Cold Plunge Store had the manufacturer call me directly. We did a quick FaceTime together and Danny kindly troubleshot the issue. Personal touches like this with quick responses to questions is not typical with many companies. The Cold Plunge Store and Recoverex have been so helpful. I had initially ordered a cold plunge from another company but they were incredibly slow to reply to an email inquiry (like 10 days!) and every time I tried to call the company I only got a voicemail. That’s when I canceled my order with the competitor and placed an order with The Cold Plunge Store. I also called them and to my surprise a real person answered and was very helpful. Now after having the Recoverex cold plunge for several weeks their service is still incredibly friendly, fast and reliable. I would like to add that I rarely do reviews, but when you get consistent great service and quality products I felt I needed to share my experience and accolades.

The Mod cold plunge is awesome! Great value for the price. We have had it a few months now (it's in our basement) and have no complaints. It's a great size, temperature of the water is accurate according to the chiller settings, and the attached lid makes it easy to keep clean and sealed which is great with little kids running around our house. We have changed the filter once, and I'm sure it varies on how often you need to do this depending on your local water. I would definitely recommend this plunge to anyone, especially if you are on a budget and don't want to spend $10,000 on a plunge.

The Cold Plunge Store is great!! I was super nervous before purchasing my cold plunge because I’m always skeptical of websites, especially when I’m having to pay a good amount of money! But I was able to speak with one of the owners, Dakota, and he was so awesome and helped so much! Customer service was great and my cold plunge delivered way faster than I expected! It works great and I am super happy with my purchase!

I was skeptical at first - the price of the Modtub was very competitive to others online. And looked way better. I was very pleased to learn this group is based in Texas. It took about 6 weeks to get my tub in. Setup took less than 30 min and I’ve been enjoying cold tubs ever since! Couldn’t be happier with this product. The fact that the cooler seals means the chiller barely runs once up to temp.

Cold plunge store was great, they kept me informed during shipping delays. The instructions and set up were super easy. The tub does not get as cold as it says on the pump but I bought the cheapest pump and should have spent more on more horsepower.

Great quality machines. I have the flex XL & I keep it at 45°F. I hit a quick 5 minute session after my meditation every morning, followed by a cup of hot coffee and it is the perfect formula for an optimal and sharp mind. I love these tubs and I really appreciate the level of customer service these guys provide. I would highly recommend these tubs to anyone looking to make an investment into your mental fitness.

Amazing! I have the Mod Plunge and it’s a game changer especially in Pennsylvania. I love that it’s tough, durable, self regulated and affordable. After beating cancer it was time to make changes and this was the final piece needed to complete my gym and help improve my health and well being. Also Dakota and his team are rockstars, I’ve called a couple different times with basic questions and they have gone above and beyond to support me.
